Welcome to the Highlight ambassador program!
Highlight is an open source monitoring and analytics tool which can be found at highlight.io and github.com/highlight/highlight. This purpose of this page is to gather talented content creators to help amplify knowledge around our product and related technologies.
Our goal with the ambassador program is to work with creators who are exited about engineering, monitoring, programming languages, and debugging tools. Especially those who can create high-quality content :). Our focus is on helping you create content that aligns with your interests while showcasing how Highlight.io can make a difference for technical teams.
Trial Period
Once you express interest in joining, we begin with a trial period where both parties can evaluate the potential for long-term collaboration.
During this phase, you create one or two pieces of content, and we provide feedback to ensure that we are aligned in terms of quality, messaging, and overall goals.
This trial will be paid and we try to aim for an engagement that’s aligned with what you would want to create long term.
Steady State Collaboration:
If we move beyond the trial period, we’ll establish a more regular relationship.
Compensation starts at $300 per piece of content (videos, blogs, tutorials, etc.) with the potential for more depending on the content’s scope, complexity, and reach.
You’ll have the creative freedom to work on content at your own pace. There are no rigid timelines or heavy oversight from our side.
Long-term Expectations
You choose the content you want to create, particularly if it’s Highlight.io-adjacent (open-source monitoring, debugging, software observability, etc.).
Content could include tutorials, case studies, comparisons, best practices, or any other format that resonates with your audience.
We believe in providing a lot of flexibility. You’ll have full ownership of your work, and we can reach out to us whenever you feel inspired to create something new or want to explore an idea related to Highlight.
